Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and SoftPal Communication and Support Services Limited ("SoftPal CSSL", "we", "us"), the company that runs CashCruz. By playing CashCruz, you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't play.

1. Who can play

You must be 18 or older. CashCruz has adult Naija humour. You're responsible for keeping access to your account (your device and email) safe.

2. It's a game: the money isn't real

All money, wallets, cash, items, gifts, stars and badges in CashCruz are virtual. They have no real-world value. They can't be withdrawn, exchanged for cash, sold or transferred outside the game. CashCruz is entertainment. It is not gambling, investment or financial advice, and there are no cash prizes. Characters and stories are fiction. Any resemblance to real people is coincidence.

3. Purchases

• Prices are shown in naira before you pay. Payments are processed by Bachs.
• When you buy something (a wallet top-up, a story unlock, a level or other item), you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use it in the game. It isn't real money or property.
• Items are delivered once Bachs confirms your payment, usually within seconds.
• Refunds: because items are delivered instantly, all sales are final, except where we made an error. We refund if you were charged twice for the same item, or if you paid and the item didn't arrive within 24 hours and we can't deliver it. Email support@cashcruz.app within 30 days with your payment reference. Nothing here limits your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018.
• Top-ups and purchases don't count towards leaderboards.

4. Play fair

Don't cheat, use bots or scripts, exploit bugs, tamper with the game or our servers, or create accounts to farm gifts. Don't use offensive, hateful or impersonating names, and don't use reactions to harass anyone. If you break these rules, we may remove names or scores, reset progress, or suspend accounts. Where possible, we'll tell you why.

5. Leaderboards, gifts and progress

We may correct scores that don't follow the game's rules, reset leaderboards, and change game balance, prices or features. Gifts between players are virtual and exist only in the game.

6. Ours and yours

CashCruz, its name, logos, characters (including Tara and Basit), art, stories and code belong to SoftPal CSSL. Don't copy or reuse them without permission. You can share your CashCruz cards and screenshots on social media.

7. Availability

We work to keep CashCruz running, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, pause or end the game. If we end it, we'll give reasonable notice in the game.

8. Liability

As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for indirect losses. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't be excluded under Nigerian law.

9. Ending your account

You can stop playing and delete your account any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Please contact us first and we'll try to sort things out. If we can't, disputes go to the courts in Abuja, FCT.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the game. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the new terms.
